Mitten in den malerischen Landschaften Mecklenburgs an der
Ostsee (800m) und dennoch
vor den Toren der Hansestadt Lübeck, sowie den Seebädern Travemünde,
Scharbeutz und Timmendorfer Strand, befindet sich unser Reethus Linda.
 
Nahezu unberührt zeigt sich der Naturstrand der Ostsee auf
wildromantische Weise - begrenzt vom naturgeschützten Wald und der schroffen
Steilküste mit ihren romantischen Sandstränden. Diese naturbelassene Umgebung
entfaltet zu allen 4 Jahreszeiten ihren Reiz. Hier sind Spaziergänge durch
goldgelbe Raps- und Getreidefelder im Frühjahr und Sommer, aber auch im Winter
an der gefrorenen Ostsee und am verschneiten Ostseestrand ein märchenhaftes
Erlebnis. 
Hervorragende Möglichkeiten für aktive wie auch entspannende
Aktivitäten in der Natur helfen zu entspannen - Beim Golfen auf den zwei
attraktivsten Anlagen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Schleswig-Holstein, beim Segeln
in Travemünde oder auch während einer Fahrradtour auf dem Ostseeradwanderweg
in Richtung Wismar oder Travemünde.
 
Gut ausgebaute Wege führen vom Ferienhaus in jede Richtung:
Am Strand bis zum Priwall und von dort mit der Fähre nach Travemünde; in die
andere Richtung entlang der Steilküste nach Brook oder durch den kühlen, zum
Teil naturgeschützten Wald. Auf dem Ostseeradwanderweg entlang der Küste radelt
man mit bester Aussicht auf die Ostsee ungestört durch die wunderschöne Natur.
 
Sehenswert sind im Ort die alte Dorfkirche in Kalkhorst, ein
Feldsteinbau aus dem 13. Jahrhundert mit schönen Wand- und Gewölbemalereien,
das im neogotischen romantischen Stil erbaute Backsteinschloss, der
Miniaturenpark mit 250 Miniatur-Bauwerken, das Schliemann-Denkmal mit Pavillon
und am Strand die Gedenkstätte für die Opfer der Cap Arcona.

Echtes Highlight: das Schlossgut Groß Schwansee (400 Meter entfernt) mit

Rest and relaxation at the baltic sea - nature as far as one can see


Located at the baltic sea ( 800 m) in the middle of the picturesque scenery of Mecklenburg and yet at the gates of the hanseatic city of Lübeck, as well as of the seaside resorts Travemünde, Scharbeutz und Timmendorfer Strand you will find our beautiful “Reethus Linda”.
The almost untouched natural beach of the baltic sea shows itself in a wild-romatic way - Bounded by a protected forest and the sharp cliff coast with its romantic sandy beaches. This natural environment reveals its charm differently and equally beautiful throughout every season. Long walks through the yellow-golden coloured rape- and grain fields in the spring and summer and along the frozen baltic sea and the snow covered beaches in winter are fairytale-like experiences.
Excellent possibilities for active and relaxing activities help to unwind - either while golfing on one of the two most attractive grounds in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein, while sailing in Travemünde or during a bicycle tour along the “Ostseeradwanderweg” into the direction of Wismar and Travemünde.
Perfectly developed roads lead from our “Reethus Linda” into every direction: Along the beach up to the “Priwall” and from the with the ferry to Travemünde; into the other direction along the cliff coast to Brook or through the protected forest. On the “Ostseeradwanderweg” you can cycle peacefully through the beautiful nature while having a stunning view of the baltic sea.


Worth seeing in the village is the old Village Church in Kalkhorst, a fieldstone building from the 13.th century with beautifully painted Walls and Vaunts, the bake stone castle build in neo-gothic romantic style, the miniature park with 250 miniature-buildings, the Schliemann-Monument with a pavilion and the Memorial to the victims of the Cap-Arcona at the beach.
You’ll find a diversity of restaurants close by. A real highlight: The Schlossgut Groß Schwansee (400m away) offers a restaurant, bar and wellness area.
